Carrot Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

¾ cup sugar
¾ cup shortening
1 cup cooked, cooled and mashed carrots
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

DIRECTIONS:

Mix well. Drop by tsp on greased cookie sheet. 375 degrees
